After being on since February, KAWS exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park finishes in less than a month. Don't miss out on a true experience of size, colour and artistic outdoor immersion. And, do walk down to the Longside Gallery to check the indoor section of the exhbition.

We visited the park a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The train journey from London to Wakefield was just over 2 hours. Once there, we took a taxi to the park for £11. It was a lot easier than waiting over an hour for the shuttle! The park has a lot to offer; apart from its permanent collection there are always multiple temporary exhibitions to sneek into.

For some of you who are not familiar with KAWS or his street art background will find his work intriguing yet very welcoming even though it does depicts some internal organs! Don't worry, it is all beautifully executed and commercially friendly. Use the visit as an excuse to enjoy a day getaway -hopefully- in good weather across an immense outdoor gallery.

To tempt you to go, here are some pics of our visit:

Oh, and make sure to take mud resistant shoes even if it sunny, just in case. We did, and it was a life saver :)
