eUrohouse - Tour Marketing

EUROHOUSE is a play by Nasi Voutsas & Bertrand Lesca, co-produced by Fellswoop Theatre. A darkly comic look at the EU’s founding ideals and what got lost along the way.

EUROHOUSE after a successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe run, went on tour in 2016-2017. Pulp & Pith supported the tour marketing activity, by liaising with the visiting venues, ensuring all the marketing activities were coordinated, advising and running social media, direct marketing and advertising campaigns and organising ticket sales strategy. Some of the venues EUROHOUSE performed are Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Ovalhouse, The North Wall, Camden People's Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, The Bike Shed, Slung Low, Brighton Dome, Hull Truck Theatre, and Assembly Roxy.


Afterlife, a Novel by Helen Comerford
branding & website + trailer + marketing consultancy

The young adult novel Afterlife was released as Podiobook and on E-book in 2016. Pulp & Pith supported its conceptual, promotion and visualisation. Working in tandem with the author, her début novel found a comfortable look between the story it narrates, and the mystery that characterise it. The logo, colour palette and general look as well as the set up of her website have been developed to meet the needs of a new fresh project. Additionally, we have edited its upcoming trailer and also contributed in the making of a promotional strategy and released scheduling. 


Megan Ford: Feminasty - marketing strategy + implementation | artwork set up

Political comedian Megan Ford took her smash-hit show FEMINASTY to VAULT Festival 2017, and we had the pleasure to support it by developing an integrated marketing campaign and arranging promotional material. In order to reach potential audiences the marketing efforts were focused on spreading the word and create buzz about the show.  Some of the marketing initiatives lead to participating on the podcast TW:TALKS, advertising in relevant mailing lists/newsletters and making new contacts to foster future projects.  
 


Various Actors - Headshots

As part of our visual communication branch we hold headshot sessions for actors -and all artists. The process is quite relaxed between an hour or two, indoors and outdoors, most of the time with a conservative level of retouching.


BarMPOT THEATRE - TOUR MARKETING, Website, TRAILER + PHOTOGRAPHY FOR PENGUINPIG

We worked closely with Jane Crawshaw the Artistic Director of Barmpot Theatre - previously named TRAUM theatre - to promote Penguinpig, a children show about e-safety. An info pack about the show, was put together including technical requirements and marketing and company information in order to reach potential venues and book more tour dates. The  tour marketing campaign focused on having a strong online presence, on creating relationships with key organisations in the visiting cities, reaching out on media, and researching advertising and promotional opportunities. We also filmed and edited the trailer for Penguinpig and took production shots during the performances at Blue Elephant Theatre.


Mandy McCartin - Editorial photography

Visiting Mandy McCartin’s studio was a delightful travel in time, memories, emotions and talent. Wanting to boost her sales, the artist and her manager decided to get hold of good photographic material of all her artwork. Having in mind the development of a catalogue, a series of full canvas and details were shot over a single session of 4 hours at her studio.


Studio189 - Branding + Photography + Design

Studio189 is a social club and events space in central London. Run by Fay and Sabina they organise comedy nights, dinner parties and art exhibitions.

Pulp & Pith developed a simple branding while supporting their visual look through the creation of the exhibition catalogue and promotional material for their Spring Ball 2015 as well as a full portraiture session of the owners.


HAMBLEDON PRODUCTIONS - JUST LIKE THAT! THE TOMMY COOPER SHOW - GRAPHIC DESIGN + FILMING & TRAILER

Hambledon Productions is a theatre company specialising in new writing and classic comedy. 

Pulp & Pith supports the ongoing tour 2016-2017 of Just Like That! by providing the artwork for festivals, venues and performances. In addition a trailer was created to assist with the promotion of the show. 


Play is Hope - website set up + graphic design 

Play is Hope is an international transcultural collective created in response to the current refugee crisis and built grassroots in collaboration with local organisers – refugees, migrants and locals.

We have supported this initiative with the website set up, and graphic material creation to spread the word of its two core projects, Dialogues Across Borders and Creating Communities Across Borders.
